Emu Park

On the southern end of the Capricorn Coast, Emu Park is coastal chill personified, complemented by green leafy parks, sandy beaches and rugged headlands.

It’s also home to arguably the most impressive war memorial found anywhere in regional Australia, a stunning sandstone and cast-iron monument, gatehouse museum and timber boardwalk. It culminates in a viewing deck which sits just below the iconic Singing Ship monument, commissioned in 1970 to commemorate the bicentenary of Captain Cook’s first voyage to Australia.
