1770reef welcomes new vessel
1770 is pleased to announce the arrival of their new 130 passenger vessel catamaran, taking over from their current 41 passenger vessel Reef Jet.
1770reef is located in the Town of 1770, which is a 5 and a half-hour drive north of Brisbane, or 1 and a half hours south of Gladstone, and they are the closest access to Lady Musgrave Island. Departing daily from 1770 in time with the tides, the new vessel will be taking passengers to Lady Musgrave Island for a day of snorkeling, glass-bottom boat viewing and a guided island walk. With morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided.
The existing Reef Jet will still be operating, taking passengers to snorkel at Fitzroy Lagoon. These tours will be available at the beginning of the Christmas school holidays with the potential to begin sooner depending on staffing. If there is demand, there is also the ability to run the Reef Jet to Lady Musgrave Island.
